                        Provided specialized instruction to students on the Autism Spectrum.  Worked collaboratively with teams at all schools in Queen Anne’s County to provide intensified programming for students with, but not limited to, autism, severe apraxia of speech, significant cognitive disabilities, specific learning disabilities and/or severe behavioral issues. Provided professional development for administrators, special educators, general educators and special education paraprofessionals in the areas of autism, brain research, behavior management, reading interventions, roles and responsibilities, collaboration, aligning Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) with Maryland’s Voluntary State Curriculum, strategies for improving students’ academic performance. District facilitator for Instructional Consultation Team through University of Maryland, College Park Lab for IC-T.  Oversee implementation of instructional consultation      process at six different schools in the county. Responsible for training, managing data collection, incorporating process in each of the schools. District facilitator for Educational Management Team in five elementary schools.  Oversee EMT procedures in each school to ensure proper use of instructional strategies and referral to special education. Provided training seminars to daycare providers, teachers, parents, and other professionals in a variety of child related topics.  Managed team of professionals to maintain integrity and timeline of grant.  Responsible for writing grant to receive funding from Maryland State Department of Education. Acted as a liaison between the public school system, parents, private nursery schools, daycare centers, home daycares, and other professionals.  Worked closely with occupational therapists, physical therapists, and speech pathologists to coordinate services for each child.  Case manager for individual students; responsible for documenting child’s progress on Individualized Educational Program goals and objectives.
