the Autism Spectrum. Worked collaboratively with teams at all
schools in Queen Anne’s County to provide intensified programming
for students with, but not limited to, autism, severe apraxia of
speech, significant cognitive disabilities, specific learning
disabilities and/or severe behavioral issues. Provided professional
development for administrators, special educators, general educators
and special education paraprofessionals in the areas of autism,
brain research, behavior management, reading interventions, roles
and responsibilities, collaboration, aligning Individualized
Education Plans (IEPs) with Maryland’s Voluntary State Curriculum,
strategies for improving students’ academic performance. District
facilitator for Instructional Consultation Team through University
of Maryland, College Park Lab for IC-T. Oversee implementation of
instructional consultation process at six different schools in
the county. Responsible for training, managing data collection,
incorporating process in each of the schools. District facilitator
for Educational Management Team in five elementary schools. Oversee
EMT procedures in each school to ensure proper use of instructional
